Give the saving goal a useful purpose

Choose SpongeBob because you want his cooking contribution: two patties at once and automatic flipping. A specific goal makes it easier to decide whether another class or skin is worth delaying the purchase.

The gameplay below introduces the restaurant and character-selection context. The actual unlock happens in the lobby class menu, rather than through a kitchen upgrade.

Claim rewards before judging your progress

Work through lobby Tasks and achievement objectives, then collect the rewards available to you. The Doubloon guide separates these sources from the cash used at the Night Shop. A good restaurant shift can help your reward objectives, but a table tip is not automatically a class-menu Doubloon.

Protect the balance if SpongeBob is the next goal. Buying a cheaper character can be useful, but it also spends currency that would otherwise go toward the 2,500 target. Make that trade-off deliberately instead of purchasing every newly affordable option.

Buy the class rather than a different improvement

Open Classes in the lobby, select SpongeBob and check the displayed Doubloon price and purchase option. Once the class is owned, use the relevant character selection for the next run. A skin and a restaurant upgrade are different purchases, so confirm what the menu is offering before spending.

You can keep playing and earning toward the goal without buying a Robux pack. If you do consider a paid pack, compare its displayed amount with the remaining gap rather than assuming one pack finishes the entire goal.
