Save the Krusty Krab Beginner Guide: First Shift
Finish your first shift
- Start here: In Save the Krusty Krab, leave Tutorial on, take an order, cook and assemble the meal, deliver it to the matching customer, then collect the tip and clear the table.
- Before the next day: Finish the closing checklist and punch in at the wall clock. Serving the last meal does not finish every night chore.
Give the first run one clear goal
Keep Tutorial enabled in Match Setup and choose the crew size you want. Crew Size 1 starts a solo run; larger settings let you share the work. For a first visit, aim to complete the restaurant loop once rather than buying a particular character immediately.
The yellow floor arrows and Mr. Krabs’ instructions introduce the stations. Use this gameplay example to recognize the register, kitchen and dining room before trying to move between them quickly.
Follow the meal all the way to the table
Take the customer’s order at the boat-shaped register. In the kitchen, cook a patty and collect it when ready. At the Assembling Table, follow the displayed recipe, finish the burger and press Ready. Carry the completed tray to the customer whose order matches it.
Do not treat a finished burger as a finished order. The food still needs the correct destination. Check the matching customer indicator before using Deliver, especially when several order bubbles are visible. If the assembly is wrong, Clear lets you restart the tray instead of sending out a mistake. The burger cooking guide explains that kitchen step in more detail.
Close the loop after the customer eats
Collect the money left behind, clear the used tray and wipe the table. Dirty tables prevent the next customer from using that seat, so cleanup belongs to service rather than something to ignore until every other job is finished.
After the Shift Report, work through the active closing checklist: clean workstations, mop spills, wipe tables and take out the trash. The trash bag goes to the large green dumpster behind the restaurant. Once the counters are complete and the trash is out, return to the wall clock and punch in for the next day.
If progress stops, identify the unfinished part of that loop. A ready tray still needs delivery; an empty dining room can still contain tips or dirty tables; a Shift Report can still be followed by night work. Repeating the clock interaction cannot replace an unfinished chore.
Make the next attempt easier
Once you can finish a shift, focus on one improvement: fewer wrong deliveries, a cleaner dining room or less time waiting on patties. The solo shift strategy helps you organize those jobs when you cover the whole restaurant yourself. With friends, decide who takes orders, who cooks and who works the floor before the next rush.
