Save the Krusty Krab Night Shop: Cash and Upgrades
Spend restaurant cash between shifts
- Where and when: The Save the Krusty Krab Night Shop is the outdoor food truck introduced on Day 3.
- What to spend: Use restaurant cash for its upgrades and supplies. Mr. Krabs covers the first Grill Capacity upgrade; later purchases use the cash your restaurant earns.
Visit the food truck with a specific problem
The Night Shop is the place to improve the current restaurant run. Before buying, name the task that held up the previous shift: patty preparation, drinks, cleaning or surviving an interruption. A relevant purchase is more useful than an item bought only because it appeared in stock.
This gameplay connects the restaurant days with the shopping and preparation between them.
Separate station improvements from personal perks
Grill Capacity is a team station improvement, while Mopping Speed is personal. That distinction matters in co-op: a shared station upgrade and a benefit for the player doing cleanup answer different needs.
The shop includes station, speed, survival, tool and capacity options. Reviewed examples include Grill Capacity, Soda Capacity, Fryer Speed, Order Prep, Mopping Speed, energy restores, the Orb of Confusion, a Water Gun, trash capacity and inventory space. Stock can change between nights, so the visible offer determines what you can buy on that visit.
Keep cash and Doubloons separate
Restaurant cash pays for Night Shop purchases. Doubloons are the lobby currency for characters and skins. Do not delay a useful restaurant purchase because you think the same cash is your SpongeBob class reserve; they belong to different spending decisions.
For the current run, protect the cash needed for the problem most likely to end service. A small convenience is less compelling if the crew is already struggling to stay active or handle a known interruption.
Prepare the next shift after shopping
The upgrade priorities guide compares purchase situations. If a station is damaged, the station repair guide answers a different immediate task: restoring equipment after an attack. Buying a general improvement and repairing damaged equipment should not be confused.
Return to a clear role after the shop visit. An upgrade helps when the crew uses it to complete orders, rather than continuing the same overloaded queue without changing its work.
